Alex Dwyer is an environmental portrait photographer born in Berlin, Germany to German/American parents.

After studying photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California Alex moved to New York City where he assisted several renowned fashion and portrait photographers before starting to take pictures himself. After 10 years in NYC Alex now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.

Alex’s recent work is a showcase of people and places produced on assignment for different magazines.His subjects are mainly professionals in the fields of design,fashion, architecture and art. Traveling the world he prefers to shoot on location.
